How to enable Cookies

If you wish to access our online services, cookies must be enabled on your computer.

Below are the instructions for enabling cookies in the most common web browser applications.

Chrome (Windows/Mac)

  1. Click the Chrome menu icon icon to access Chrome menu
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Show advanced settings near the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Content settings in the Privacy section.
  5. Select Allow local data to be set to allow both first-party and third-party cookies. If you only want to accept first-party cookies, check the box next to Block all third-party cookies without exception.

Firefox (Windows/Mac)

  1. On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu and select Preferences...
  2. Select the Privacy panel.
  3. Set Firefox will to Use custom settings for history.
  4. Check mark Accept cookies from sites to enable Cookies, and uncheck it to disable them.
    • If you are troubleshooting problems with cookies, make sure Accept third party cookies is also check marked.
  5. Choose how long cookies are allowed to be stored:
    • Keep until: they expire. In this case, each cookie will be removed when it reaches its expiration date, which is set by the site that sent the cookie.
    • Keep until: I close Firefox. In this case, the cookies stored on your computer will be removed when you close Firefox.
    • Keep until: ask me every time. In this case, Firefox displays an alert every time a website tries to send a cookie, and asks you whether or not you want to store it.
  6. Close the Preferences window.

Safari (Mac)

  1. Within Safari, click the Safari menu and choose Preferences.
  2. Click the icon labeled Privacy.
  3. Set the option labeled Block Cookies to Never.
